Hug or be hugged!!
I have lots to fill in......and i will do so!
I went home for two weeks which was so wonderful and so heart-breaking at the same time. I needed that trip because it made me fall in love with my city and place all over again. I got to see my wonderful family and friends and it became sort of personal re-newel of vows with those that I love. It is not that I ever stopped loving them it is just stronger now and fresher when we meet again.
I flew back to the UK on an overnight flight didn't sleep much....landed at 6am was back in Cambridge at 10am...greeted by my lovely Frenchman friend and went out to eat.
Two types of people in this world those who Hug and those who don’t…….
In my crowd in the US we are big huggers....I miss that! I love the Hug! The Bear Hug is my favorite!!!! The only good thing that comes from visiting and then leaving loved ones is the copious amounts of hugs I get.
When you are a hugger-o-holic and you relocate to a place that doesn’t hug much….well it is hard. I am not going to lie! Yes folks brace yourself ……In other parts of this globe the hug doesn't really happen! When I became friends with the Frenchman I said, "You don't hug do you" and I explained my views and he told me his and how odd it is to hug....and I said, “Well that is what we do!!!” So we would try to hug and it was always so funny and awkward!
Sooooo It was nice to be greeted off the bus to him giving me a huge long proper hug!! It was so surprising. I told him that from a non-hugger he is really a good hugger now!!! He just replied, “I am really happy to see you and that is why you get a hug." Well lucky for me! ;)
